confirmed for me as well on Google Desktop 5.9.0909.08267-en-pb, Chrome 3.0.195.17, Window XP SP3. Just note that there wasn't an announcements on the GDS blog on the new release so just go to the GDS page and download to get the latest version (http://desktop.google.com).
