THIS IS NOT A DEFECT, BUT A FEATURE SUGGESTION. I WAS SENT HERE WHEN IN
GOOGLE CHROME HELP FORUMS.
Chrome Version : 3.0.195.20 (I have the beta, but my about is acting
weird)
URLs (if applicable) : Any saved webpage
Other browsers tested: Yes
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
Safari 4: Untested
Firefox 3.x: OK
IE 7: OK
IE 8: Untested
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a webpage with text input fields checkboxes, dropdowns, etc.
2. Edit fields and save the page to your computer in any format.
3. Close chrome and re-open the file.
What is the expected result?
Any input field changes are saved when using firefox and IE
What happens instead?
These fields are not saved with chrome.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
