Comment #153 on issue 3543 by melado: Checkboxes and scroll bar arrows sometimes disappear under Windows classic http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=3543
I had this problem for months. I found a workaround, and it is sort of a habit for me now. When I find a checkbox that should be there but it is not, I quickly open the Windows task manager with Ctrl+Shift+Esc. Just after that, if I hover the checkbox, it appears. I am not sure if this will help, but it is the only pattern I could find. I think it only happens in a busy environment (lots of open tabs, other programs, etc), but I can't replicate it when I want - it just happens randomly :( It looks like the theory of the GDI handles is on the right way, but I know nothing about Win32 programming. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
