Hey, found a temporary fix when the tab won't close. I have to go back into facebook in another tab (duplicate will not work) and then open the Chromium task manager and end the other stuck process. Probably Facebook's coders fault for pulling a Microsoft and trying to get out new releases that don't work stably.
