This is a very bizarre bug. How can the glyph for a single simple letter be  
split into
two parts? Is it a freetype bug? ...

Xiaolu, can you see if you can reproduce by setting the font setting the  
same as the
reporter's? Also, can you see what's the computed values for 'font-family'  
and 'font-
weight' in the DOM inspector?

To lisitsky: what's your font setting for Russian/Cyrillic in Firefox? Can  
you make
them the same as Chrome's and see if you have the same issue in Firefox?
