Comment #12 on issue 15949 by DizzyC81: cannot use the "WenQuanYi Bitmap Song" (chinese Fonts) as the system fonts with chrome http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=15949
OK, now I'm intrigued! If I change the application font under Gnome I can start chromium. Then (while still running chromium) I change the font back to my font (snap - bitmap font) and everything works just great. So now my question: Is it really that hard to provide a fallback option. So if chromium doesn't find the font, or doesen't like it because it is bitmap font, can't it just fall back to the default _sans font for example. That would be very simple and effective. That's what Firefox or Opera do.... -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
