This page contains malware, the software that you have downloaded is  
slowing down

Uninstall any software that you may have installed from this site. Then run:

A virus scanner, either McAffee (crap), Norton (crap), AVG free edition or  
avira
http://www.free-av.com/
Spybot search and destroy
Malware bytes
Ccleaner



Google chrome actually blocked me from accessing this website.
To check that google chrome is filtering dangerous sites go to Options >  
Under the
Hood and make sure that "enable phising and malware protection" is checked.

Perhaps google chrome prevents the installation of the virus and thus  
freezes up.
However, it should not lockup, perhaps one of the devs has a handy VM that  
they can
test this on.
If it does allow installation of the virus, this should be marked a serious  
bug.
