New issue 22338 by celeretaudax: Context menu item stays visible after it
is selected
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=22338
Chrome Version : 4.0.206.1
URLs (if applicable) : *
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
Safari 4: OK
Firefox 3.x: OK
IE 7: OK
IE 8: OK
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Chrome
2. Right-click or open a menu in Chrome
3. Select any item
What is the expected result?
The menu should disappear entirely.
What happens instead?
The selected menu item remains, above any window, in any program.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
Doing this causes the selected item to remain visible. It's not a memory
issue, as far as I can tell, as this happens with no other programs open.
This is happening to me in Windows 7 RC, I have no other OS to test it on,
if someone can confirm. Doesn't happen in any other program.
To resolve the issue, I adjust my resolution and then revert, and that
seems to work for now.
