I believe that I'm getting bitten by a variant of this problem as well, and it's happened before. When I updated Chromium tonight (from 208 to 212), most sites loaded without any problems, but facebook gave me an error 111 (CONNECTION_RESET). When I cleared out all my browsing history, it worked fine (and even when it was giving me CONNECTION_RESET, I could access facebook on my mac with safari -- same wired network. (Previous instance was when I did an updated and couldn't load gmail completely; again, clearing all browsing history fixed the issue.)
