Comment #13 on issue 16515 by [email protected]: View page source executes javascript and redirects from http Refresh header http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=16515
IMHO view-source: should just show the body of any reply (or decode a data: url) and not handle 30x, refresh or anything special. I find view-source: following any redirects counter intuitive: If I want to view- source: URL "A", it would be annoying if a redirect takes me to URL "B". It prevents me from viewing URL "A" altogether, where as not following the redirect would allow me to view-source: both URLs. If you have time to spare, you could implement a yellow bar saying that there is a redirect and would I want to follow it. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
