I'm also having this issue. After Chrome, for whatever reason, decided to wipe all my settings, I cannot seem to login to the sync feature. I've typed my password correctly into notepad and then pasted it into the box to make sure it was correct, but I still get the error message. I can successfully login to GMail and other Google services, though. I've tried restarting Chrome several times to see if it was a temporary error, but it still persists.. Perhaps it's because I just recently (72hrs~) changed my Google account password and security question? I haven't a clue :(. If I can provide any useful information to you guys, please ask for it.
