Comment #46 on issue 8022 by Andrew.Rodland: Add address bar and other controls to full screen mode http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=8022
If, for some reason, I wanted to make a supposed internet "application" into an island from which it was impossible to access all the other stuff I wanted to do, I would go to the trouble of putting it into its own window and fullscreening *that*. By the fact that I *don't* do that I'm signalling that that's not what I want, and I'm aware that this stuff is running in a browser, and I would like the browser to do something useful for me. Put another way, every other browser is equally useful at doing the thing that you claim Chrome is optimized for -- I can F11 a presentation in Firefox or IE and it will work just as well as chrome. But if I want to hit F11 and HAVE MY BROWSER BE USEFUL AS A *...@#%#@!$#@ BROWSER then EVERY OTHER PRODUCT ON THE PLANET is more useful than Chrome. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
