IE 8: Not tested.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a local file, "test.html", with content as below.
2. (Attempt to) Open file in Chrome
What is the expected result?
Chrome should render that file.
What happens instead?
* On Leopard (10.5.8), no user feedback. If Chrome was not already running,
it starts up
and loads the default set of tabs.
* On Snow Leopard (10.6.1), Chrome displays a dialog reporting that "cannot
open files in
the "HTML Document" format. (screenshot attached.)
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
