@kaushikgopal and @jjnhendriks: If you aren't using NTFS junctions, this bug is not relevant. @jjnhendriks: Do you by chance have the wrench > under the hood > downloads > "ask where to save each file before downloading" option checked? If so, there is a known issue that describes your problem which has been fixed and will be in the next build.
