I entered this info in a later bug (bug 23302): "I am having the same issue. Cannot type or paste into the body text area of a compose message box. Chromium 4.0.220.1 (27608) on Windows XP Professional SP3." If you right click in the body area, you can select paste, but nothing will paste. This is a regression, as it only stopped working recently. When I get home, I'll give the build number I'm running there that works in this situation.
