matter where you use it

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Navigate to any page you want.
2. Press BACKSPACE key while chrome window has focus.
3. Page goes back to previous page
4. Try to fill a form. Press BACKSPACE to correct your input.
5. Page goes back to previous page.

What is the expected result?
Backspace should delete previous character if it's focused on an input
field.

What happens instead?
Browser goes to previous page. Abandoning all changes you have made.
