Behavior in Firefox 3.x (if applicable): local html file is opened

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Write on Linux command prompt a command to open a local html file
by chromium, for instance:

$ chromium glibc_manual.html

Or use any other local stored html page.

What is the expected result?
Open local html file in chromium.

What happens instead?
'glibc_manual.html' is interpreted as:
'http://glibc_manual.html/'
