What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open multiple tabs
2. use ctrl-w to close tab
3.

What is the expected result?

One tab closes

What happens instead?

2 or maybe more tabs closed

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

It's only started happening in the last weeks updates - not quite sure of
which one.  It's possible other keystrokes are doing odd things as well.
I'm on Ubuntu Karmic beta 64bit (up to date) using the PPAs of chromium.
