Comment #6 on issue 23764 by [email protected]: Tab-to-search flakily
broken on Linux
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=23764

Maybe I'm not clear when I'm saying completion... I'm thinking of using
<tab> to
complete into search. This doesn't have anything to do with substrings,
since you
don't use tab to complete in that case.

Making the completion "regress" is a bad UI because it violates the
principle of
least surprise. In no way that prevents someone from typing enough letters
to
discriminate between completion entries, or selecting the right one
manually, etc.

Also, I don't have an issue with "w" showing "wiki/", with <enter> going
there, but
<tab> completing to "search wikipedia.org:" (with the hint).
