What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Have someone to send you a Facebook message (facebook mail)
2. Got to facebook message/mail page and click that message (the text box
for entering your answer appears
3. Set the focus to it ans try typing something
Nothing happens... you type, nothing appears on the box.
It works with Firefox on the same machine
