Comment #37 on issue 12120 by igitur: chrome browser process and flash process memory usage grows over time (memory leak) http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=12120
I'm on Linux at home and I have a very flaky internet connection. It's difficult to confirm, but it seems that more memory is leaked especially when my connection is down. I tend to have open Gmail, Reader, Calendar, Hootsuite. They all poll the server on a regular basis. If the internet connection is down then the attempt to contact the server would fail. Is it possible that the memory leak is in the handling of failed http connections? -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
