For those as clueless as I about installing the extensions from comment #18, just either snag it from within Chrome/Chromium, or if you saved it with another browser just drag it onto your Chrom[e|ium] window. You should then get a dialog asking if you want to install it. This is assuming, of course, that you launched Chrom[e|ium] with the "--enable-plugins" option.
