Comment #6 on issue 1687 by nathanbrauer: Wish: middle click to ignore javascript http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1687
This is one of the things that irritate me the most about Google Chrome. A middle- click should be consistent with its purpose. If I'm middle clicking a link, I am doing so for a specific reason. Usually it's because I have something on the current page that I don't want to load again. More often than not, I will have a half filled form, see a help link (like "Why do we need this?"), and middle-click it only to find that it completely ignores the middle-click (sometimes even for NON-javascript!) and it opens in the same tab. I click "back", praying that my data is still in the form, but it's usually gone. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
