Comment #4 on issue 21206 by rjain2: Windows 7 (64bit)-Release Version. Chrome Hangs (Frequent on Chrome Version 3.0.195.10; less so on earlier versions) http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=21206
I have almost confirmed that this issue is NOT due to Chrome. It is an OS issue (Low DPC latencies). For people with NVidia's 9600m chipsets (such as MacBook Pros), the issue is best explained by a thread at http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php? p=6945145#post6945145. The fix is also suggested in that forum. I applied that fix and have been running the system and Chrome without any hanging issues so far. I will report back if there is any other bad news but for now, this bug can be closed. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
