Chrome Version : 4.0.221.8-r28108 OS + version : ubuntu 6.06 CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): i386 window manager : metacity URLs (if applicable) : Behavior in Firefox 3.x (if applicable): Behavior in Chrome for Windows (optional): What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. 0 ~% rm -rf .config/google-chrome.new 2. 0 ~% google-chrome --user-data-dir=.config/google-chrome.new 3. open new tab and enter www.google.com and let the page load 4. open new tab and type www so that chrome auto-fills the url bar with www.google.com with the rest of the text selected 5. press control-right letting go of the right arrow but not control 6. release control What is the expected result? cursor left in correct location What happens instead? all the auto-filled text disappears Please provide any additional information below.
