Comment #6 on issue 14474 by [email protected]: Chinese find in page: "Previous" and "Next" buttons don't work correctly when finding Chinese in a page http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=14474
test this on WinXP SP2 with Chrome 4.0.222.5 (Official Build 28804) tested with all double-byte language ( zh-cn, zh-tw, jp, ko) using IME and copy/paste international strings. I no longer see the issue describe above, Next button no longer skip to every odd numbers and Prev button work as expected as well. the only issue remain is that for double-byte languages, when entered using IME, it always start at 2nd matching string. for copy/pasted string or other language inputed string it start correct at the 1st match as long as search start at the beginning of the page. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
