Chrome Version : 4.0.222.5 (Official Build 28804) URLs (if applicable) : OS version : 10.6.1 Behavior in Safari 3.x/4.x (if applicable): standard Behavior in Firefox 3.x (if applicable): standard Behavior in Chrome for Windows: unkown What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. navigate to a webpage bigger than the Chrome window 2. have a window with scrollable content behind the Chrome window 3. scroll the content of the Chrome window while it's on top. 4. the content in the window below will start scrolling What is the expected result? The content in the window below doesn't scroll What happens instead? see 4. Tested with Chromium nightly build and Chrome (version listed above), window below was Terminal.app and Aperture. Didn't test with other apps but presume the behaviour will be the same. Scroll events generated with multitouch touchpad on MacbookPro5,1.
