Comment #8 on issue 13050 by imjustmatthew: Crash - History, most visited pages gone http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=13050
This issue stills occurs under Linux. Start Chromium and open something. Hard kill all Chromium processes. When restarted, Chromium will prompt for and be able to restore previously open pages, but the images in the new tab page will be broken, the URL input will no longer search when you enter a string of words, and right clicking on selected text no longer shows "Search Google for "<selected text>"". After deleting history and cache files in .config the history and cache are gone, but Chromium successfully recreates them and continue working correctly. This issue may be partially complicated by the fact that my home directory is over NFS, but seems Chromium specific, like Chromium doesn't do something quite right to recover files after it crashes. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
