New issue 25164 by mwexler: In-page links (#label, aka anchors) in Yahoo
Mail cause crash (sad face)
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=25164
Chrome Version :
Chromium 4.0.222.7 (Developer Build 28930)
WebKit 532.2
V8 1.3.15
User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US)
AppleWebKit/532.2 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/4.0.222.7 Safari/532.2
URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
Safari 4:
Firefox 3.x: OK
IE 7: OK
IE 8: OK
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Take a mail from a Yahoo groups digest. I receive mail from the Web
Analytics Forum, http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/webanalytics/, but any
digest mail will do.
2. Receive mail. Yahoo puts a table of contents at the top, each in the
form of Anchor links. Clicking on the anchor link at the top causes the
fail (aw, snap)
What is the expected result?
Clicking link should scroll to that part of the mail, or do nothing. Aw
Snap is not expected.
What happens instead?
Aw Snap.
