Hm, it sounds like the two of you are encountering different bugs. Lei is talking about hanging *within* the file picker, while Dan is talking about after you've picked a directory from the file picker the browser hanging afterwards. (Right? Because you're getting back to gedit to get the infobar?) When it's hung, is it chewing CPU?
