Comment #2 on issue 17536 by hatem.h: Labels/tags for bookmarks http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=17536
This is the one area that Chrome is lacking when compared to Firefox. This problem also effects the Firefox bookmark importer, as the tags will obviously be left out. A temporary fix could be to read the tags during the import procedure and append them to the bookmark name (e.g., "Bookmark Name - (tag1, tag2, tag3)"). That way there is no loss of data in the import, and the imported bookmarks are still searchable within Chrome using the same keywords the user would use in Firefox. Some types of bookmarks end up being not searchable at all without their tags. For example, images don't always have a human understandable name so you end up with bookmarks like "014.jpg" which tells you nothing about its contents. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
