Comment #14 on issue 15991 by [email protected]: Chrome doesn't support WMP's player.controls.playItem http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=15991
I agree. "NPAPI has its own issues" but its the best worse thing. at least we would still be developing for 2 cases (ie and not ie) and will not need to start splitting the use cases to chrome separately because right now this is the only way to achieve anything more then just plain WMP control. 1.This is a good solution for the Chrome browser and for all of us developing for port25 plugin . I am sure that now there will be more commitment from the community and google on fixing the remaining bugs with the port 25 plugin. p.s What we really need is to push the port25 folks to make the port25 plugin a true open source and release the code to the community . so that we all can chip in and fix all those small but irritating bugs. If there is any way on getting the port25 code (we tried all the conventional ways)? -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
