transition always throws an error

here is a screenshot of the error, which happened again today. this happens
when i use
a buy it now item, click "commit to buy" then am taken to the totals page.
at the
bottom, there's a "continue with paypal" or similarly labeled button. when
i'm redirected
there, i get the attached page/screenshot.
this was tried today on chromium 4.0.224.4 (30005)
