Comment #2 on issue 25639 by ignacio.desoto: HTTP password prompt is not
clearly visible (popup has no borders)
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=25639
I'm attaching a screenshot.
My window manager is metacity.
In the screenshot the loaded webpage is about:blank, so the popup is
clearly visible,
but when the loaded webpage is another one the popup window gets lost.
My proposal, besides fixing the borders issue, is to change the tab's icon
from the
loading circle to a yellow warning exclamation mark or something else, so
that the
user gets noticed that the webpage requires input. Sometimes I load this
webpage and
switch to another tab, and if I look at the tabs it seems as it is still
loading
because of the loading icon, but it actually isn't and I can't know that
until I
switch to the tab.
