Comment #3 on issue 26016 by duncan.lock: Complete chromium crash loading hacks.mozilla.org/2009/10/font-control-for-designers/ http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=26016
Yes, it does. I tried messing with --user-data-dir=, but that just seemed to load my existing profile. I then logged in as a different user altogether - who's never run chromium before, loaded this page, then clicked on the link. It started loading the page, I saw the grey background and the page header logo, then it crashed. I tried it again a couple of times and it was repeatable. I ran chromium-browser from the command line and tried it again. The only thing that it output during the session was 'Segmentation Fault'. This is using 4.0.226.0~svn20091026r30050-0ubuntu1~ucd1~jaunty. I suspect that this might have something to do with the video on that page, so here are the versions for the chromium-codecs stuff: chromium-codecs-ffmpeg: 0.5+svn20090917r26428-0ubuntu1~ucd1~jaunty chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-nonfree: 0.5+svn20091027r30150-0ubuntu1~ucd1~jaunty Are there any more tests, logs or data that I could provide which may help? -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
