Thanks for the explanation. I would need to see the ERROR logs to understand why those pages give the "Not Available" error. wtc and I did confirm that the Mac has a bug for SSL pages, since we don't currently handle an error could that would let us fallback from TLS to SSL for TLS-intolerant servers. This is the bug from issue 19255.
