I also just had the same bug. I tried to click the red-circle-x on the last
tab and I
could no longer close the browser. I could open up a new tab and go to a
site, but
when I hit the x to close the tab it would not close. I had to kill the
task in task
manager. I opened up 3 tabs to try this and I've attached the screenshot of
what
appeared after I hit the red x for the tab. The white blank space where a
site is
usually displayed goes blue like the chrome background, and then the tab is
pretty
much frozen.
Platform: Ubuntu Linux 9.10 64-bit, chrome linux browser installed from
google.com.
