Comment #35 on issue 6961 by iambob: Double Clicking app window icon doesn't close Chrome http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=6961
Is it really taking this long to implement standard Windows functionality into this? I love Chrome, but the fact that this can't be implemented is making this feel like a half-baked Windows 3.11 application. I don't care if this doesn't work on a Chrome window with no app icon. I wouldn't expect it to. However, pop-ups in Chrome DO have an app icon. Worse, the standard menu which appears when this icon is clicked has CLOSE in BOLD. The whole point of this menu item appearing in BOLD is that it should be the default behavior when this icon is double-clicked. Instead, double-click is ignored completely. Either double-clicking the app icon for pop-ups should close the window, or the app icon should be removed so that user's aren't tricked into thinking this will behave like a standard window in Windows. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
