Try to comment out the domain domain.actdsltmp and search domain.actdsltmp and see what happens: # Generated by NetworkManager #domain domain.actdsltmp #search domain.actdsltmp nameserver 192.168.0.1 nameserver 206.63.24.6 I don't know when this file is used and when this file is updated by system. Because I had to comment out once again when I got back from office.
