Comment #5 on issue 25752 by 4jonah: Feature Request: CTRL+F, case-sensitive searches http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=25752
Valgog, I really don't think thats necessary simply because it complicates things too much. I dont know of any time when the quotations would be included within the query, but I do need some whole word searches sometimes. The solution for that now is just to use spaces. So If I am searching for 'car' and its on a huge page full of words like 'Oscar', 'care', 'incarcerated', etc....the way I would search for the whole word 'car' is by having a space on the search bar. so my search would look like this: ' car ' so the first thing on the search bar is a space, then the query, then another space, but that doesnt always work. MAYBE, the options will come as a popdown menu after the search is entered. IDK, but there really needs to be this option, and it needs to be implemented in a simple to use, and non obtrusive way, which shouldnt be too hard. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
