I just did these exact steps: Chromium window with 7 tabs Chromium window with 1 tab Restore setting to "restore what was open last" Quit Chrome Dragged a new Chromium.app over the old one. Started Chromium from the terminal 2 windows (one with 7 tabs, one with 1 tab) restored correctly.
