Apple Crash Reporter does not pick this one up either.
IPC failure (“IPC message is too big”) is sufficient to sever the
browser-renderer
IPC connection, and that's how the browser decides that the renderer has
crashed and
shows the sad tab. There isn't actually a crash occurring here, though.
It appears
that the renderer is exiting on its own without crashing.
As there's no actual crash, I'm adjusting the title. I'm leaving the Crash
label
because we don't really distinguish between crashes and non-crash sad tabs
in our labels.
