Comment #7 on issue 25790 by [email protected]: HTTP Basic / Digest auth fails when password contains non-ASCII characters http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=25790
(1) a lot of people in Germany are using non-ASCII passwords !!! (2) please try the following intranet web site http://www.saxonia-muenchen.de/Frameset/NurFuerUns_Final/ and enter user name: Sax and password: grüngoldschwarz You will see that IE and Firefox are working fine and Chrome fails. PLEASE DO NOT PASS THAT PASSWORD TO OTHER PEOPLE. Thanks, Edmund Hirsch -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
