Comment #24 on issue 736 by canadauberalis: No way to disable plugins using UI http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=736
As an administrator of a small business network that is fairly flexible in terms of personal computer/software use I find it disappointing that a major security flaw like this is still unattended to. The ability to disable specific plug-ins is one of the major reasons individuals using Chrome are still not allowed on our office network. With Adobe's tendency to release critical patches sporadically at best and Microsoft silently inserting plug-ins behind the scenes, but a business need to have flash active in user's browsers (much to my disappointment) and Acrobat installed for PDF Form creation the ability to selectively disable plug-ins is not optional in the slightest. If any Google product deserves the 'Beta' label Google has been so fond of in the past, it's this program, and will remain that way until I don't have to go on a hard drive hunt to find the plug-in DLL's just to disable a few plug-ins. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
