evan: do we only require NSS 3.12.3 in new installations?
The 30586 revision number in the bug's summary is amazingly
accurate. The checkin that introduced this bug is r30585,
in which I started to use an NSS feature added in NSS 3.12.1,
after making sure our .deb and rpm installers require NSS
3.12.3.
I'm willing to implement a workaround. NSS 3.12.0 is
vulnerable to the wildcard certificate attack, which is
why we require NSS 3.12.3 or later.
