Comment #25 on issue 3793 by manishjhanji: Keys don't work in Yahoo Mail depending on which area has the focus http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=3793
I had contacted the Yahoo support and below is the response. I am not sure if the Yahoo support understood the issue correctly :( Thank you for writing to Yahoo! India. I understand some keys are not working in your Yahoo! Mail account. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. A number of functions in Yahoo! Mail require JavaScript. There is a non-JavaScript version of Yahoo! Mail for users with browsers that do not support JavaScript. By default, you are given the version appropriate for your browser when you log in. If you have problems when clicking on links or buttons in your account, it's possible that your browser may be having problems handling JavaScript. In this situation, we recommend that you ensure that your browser is enabled to accept JavaScript. If your browser seems enabled, but you continue to have problems, we recommend upgrading your browser. Please read the following information to learn how: I. To enable JavaScript, follow the instructions below for your browser and version: Chrome: Launch Google Chrome from Start/Run with the parameter -enable-javascript. For example, in Vista: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe -enable-javascript For example, in Windows XP: "C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome" -enable-javascript NOTE: Javascript is enabled in Chrome by default. This will reset the default parameters. II. If you have problems after taking the steps above, we recommend that you upgrade your current web browser, or switch to a different one. Upgrading to a newer version of your browser will offer you greatly increased functionality and stability. The two most popular web browsers are Firefox and Internet Explorer. Both are available as free downloads on the Web. The Firefox browser can be found at: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ The Internet Explorer browser can be found at: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/download/ Chrome can be found at: http://www.google.com/chrome I hope this answers your question.
