Sorry for my slow update.
Unfortunately, I gave up fixing this issue for milestone 4 since my quick
fix (*1) has
been ignored by reviewers for three months. (This change is now obsolete,
i.e. it
cannot be applied to the latest trunk. So, I need to re-write another
change.)
