Here are a few more wiresharks and net internals to analyse. I have to say
that
results are stochastic- sometimes all my test sites appear promptly but
other times
they seem to respond slowly or not at all even in response to a reload
command. If
the wheel is still turning, changing to a new site even on a fresh tab
seems to stall
the whole browser as though the first was preventing the second. I found I
was
regularly closing the browser and starting over just to make some progress.
Frustrating.
I don't know if this is real or not but double-clicking sometimes gave a
better
success rate- may give you a clue.
