I am also seeing this issue on Win7 x32 with Acrobat Pro 8.1.6. Adobe
Reader 9.1 was
installed on the system. I updated to Reader 9.2 and the issue still
occurred. I
uninstalled Reader then downloaded and installed again (Adobe Reader 9.2)
setting
Reader as the default PDF handler. I now get a slightly different error
(see attached
screenshot) and the PDF does not open on the second click as it did before.
