The ppa source I use hasn't update chromium to its newest build. The current version on my notepad is 4.0.244.0 (Ubuntu build 31558). When I set the cookies strategy according above, the redirect loop be over, but google will redirect me to another page prompting that I need to open the cookies functionality to login. You can reproduce that situation easily I think. The truth is, with chromium, it's very hard to load any page from google.com that need accounts login confirmation. But the chromium on my desktop computer just works fine. Hope this mail will finally reach you.
